Simple but beautiful app for meditation
This app is not just a simple timer. Of note although it is technically free, you only get a free trial with all the services I actually enjoy for 7 days and then you are asked to make a donation. The app impressed me enough in the trial period to pay the 4.99. There are numerous sounds to choose from and you can set so many timers in between (so you give yourself time to get into your breath before following your theme of the day, know the halfway point, and know when you only have 1 minute left so you can come back to the breath...at least that is how I side it). After your done it shows you a beautiful random quote from different gurus of different views (yoga, Buddhist, Zen) and it makes me smile. You can save a note about your meditation and experience and (if you chose to) post it to the private program feed (or not). You can also view other people who have meditated and see if they wrote anything. I kind of like that. I emphasize that you dont have to partake in that part though. Overall, clearly I like it even though I was skeptical at first.
